In the last decade, emerging technologies have become inseparable from everyday life, fundamentally reshaping the way we design, experience, and inhabit cities. Recognizing their transformative potential, my doctoral research focused on exploring the spatial implications of these technologies within the urban realm.

My academic and practical journey began by examining key concepts such as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), digital platforms, the Internet of Things (IoT), programming, and artificial intelligence (AI). This exploration revealed how these systems intersect with the built environment and influence spatial experience. Ideas like smart homes, smart cities, digital placemaking, and AI-driven urban systems became essential points of inquiry. Along the way, I encountered emerging paradigms such as the metaverse and gamification, which blur the boundaries between physical and virtual spaces and create hybrid urban experiences.

Building on these insights, my research and teaching aim to rethink the possibilities that digital technologies particularly AI offer for architectural and urban design. I am committed to investigating how these tools can be harnessed to foster more adaptive, inclusive, and experiential urban landscapes.

This is an evolving path. Each project, seminar, and collaboration brings new perspectives, reinforcing my belief that technology is not only a tool but also a critical agent in shaping the cities of tomorrow.
